What you eat

I have to admit, I am not yet a vegetarian, but I have reduced my red meat intake greatly in the last couple of years. Remember, when you begin changing your life, it must be fun. If the changes annoy you, you will drop them. It's like quitting an addiction. What I found out so far, is that eating healthy food, from sustainable sources, is quite uncomplicated.

Basically, anything with added sugar is bad for you.

Processed food is also bad for you, face it.

Most organically produced food from local sources are good for you. Eat a balanced diet on seasonal produce.

Begin to plant and grow your own vegetables on your terrace/balcony.

These four simple rules just made your diet 50% better.

GMO's aren't all together 'bad', they are also necessary to feed the growing population. What is necessary is that we control them, and that they are properly labelled for the consumers to make the choice that is right for them. The size of corporations is another problem, apart from GMO's. We need to make sure, no corporation can control what we eat, or becomes 'to big to fail'.
